Jaguar ja Land Rover tällä kertaa arvioinnin kohteena.http://www.freep.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20070612/BUSINESS01/70612011/1053/SPORTS05Mahdollista sisäpiiritietoa löytyy kommenteista, tässä helmi loontoota taitaville:==============================The Dearborn ObserverKslice and Johnny,Re; FreestyleThe program manager until just before launch was a Volvo guy named Jan Vulcan. He did his best to commonize the designs of the then S60 in the Ford Platform since he understood that it was in the best interests of both companies. He was an excellent engineer and an excellent manager. Unfortunately though, like most of the Volvo middle management that we tried to integrate into the happy Ford Family, he was politically naive and was pulled off the program because he didn't know how to play the game.I supported the purchase of Volvo, it was about the only Jac Nassar decision I agreed with (Land Rover was a good purchase since it integrated well with Jaguar, but that's another blog stream). Volvo will probably do better under the umbrella of another company as long as there are Nassarites in Senior Management positions at Ford. Good engineering and good analytical skills and good decision making should be the only metric for success. Volvo's managers as a rule don't have (and they shouldn't need) the political survival skills required by Ford.I'm with them.Alan, I'll say it again, until you get rid of the senior management that thrived under Nasser (and that means everyone around you since all the Nasser contrarians were purged prior to your coming to Ford), the company will fail, and it will be hung on you, prepare yourself.==============================
